At the end of last year I was very excited to be asked to photograph Emily and Andrews wedding at the Custard Factory in Birmingham.
As a predominently natural light photographer I am always wary about taking on wedding bookings during the Winter as the amount of available light is severely restricted. Of course that does mean that there are normally other light sources available and this one had candles and twinkly lights in abundance! Luckily we had a bright, sunny day - even if it was bitterly cold outside! I felt really sorry for Emily during the formal group photos but she was determined to brace the cold and she did so with a huge smile on her face!
I love the small details that make each wedding unique and this one included a saxophone-wielding groom, a ceilidh band and various well-placed vintage elements. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day. To view the entire set, please head here (the password can be obtained from Emily and Andrew).
